TTX-GP Ready for the next round of Track Testing in 2 weeks

Been a long time since I have done an update here and the reason
for that is I have been too busy working at the track to stop and
tell people what has been going on. The RC is done and gorgeous!
Works great, but we are about to make it better as we are developing a
a TTX-GP shock for it which should be completed early this spring.

Bodywork is off to the painters today

Work began almost unexpectedly Sunday when for some odd reason I felt compelled to start stripping down the very bike I have neglected for 6 months straight.

No bright shop lights, no bike lift, not even a rear stand to keep it upright, hell I didn’t even move it into a proper work area I just started working on it old school right in the middle of the garage & the pieces went flying.

I had totally forgotten how much unnecessary crap they put on those poor bikes.

Fresh Greasy Goodness in the form of a new 3D chain from Drive Systems

Split the calipers, popped out the pistons and polished them to a mirror shine then
installed Fresh Carbonne Lorraine C60 Race Pads

After a decade and a half we are finally going to build another RC51, an SP2 this time. The goal is to use only top tier parts in a manner we all know will be beneficial, but we want as many of those parts to be something different than the norm. For example instead of using Sato Exhausts we will use ARATA and instead of DID chain it will be Regina etc.

The suspension of course will be Ohlins and the decision has not been made yet between the 30mm NIX cartidge Kit retrofit versus the 20mm re-work, but we'll figure it out soon enough.
